Possibility of Remission

VOICE-OVER (MONICA): For me, achieving remission is not necessarily saying, “I no longer have RA.” Or not having to take the medications. For me, achieving remission is feeling better on a daily basis, consistently.

VOICE-OVER (TOM): So, long-term, my goal would be to try to achieve remission. But if I can’t get there, then I at least want to reduce the symptoms as much as possible so that I can continue to do the things that I love.

VOICE-OVER (CAROL): My ultimate goal is to continue to run and have a chance at achieving remission. And I know I’m not going to be back to a hundred percent, but I just want to be able to do those things that I enjoy.
