When Aspirin Free Anacin® or Tylenol® (acetaminophen) is taken as prescribed, it is usually not associated with side effects. It does not cause stomach or intestinal problems that have been associated with some nonselective nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as Anacin® (aspirin).

If you are taking Aspirin Free Anacin® or Tylenol® (acetaminophen) and consume more than 3 alcoholic drinks daily or have a history of alcohol abuse, you should tell your health care provider. Acetaminophen may cause liver damage.
